Postgraduate Committee

The Postgraduate Committee is a representative student committee within the Students’ Union, which aims to specifically support and enhance the postgraduate students' experience at Loughborough University.

The committee consists of nine members and is chaired by the Postgraduate Executive Officer. The members and their respective positions on the committee is as follows:


Dina Eldawi Vice-Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Dina Eldawi and I am your Vice-Chair for the postgraduate committee. I am an Information and Business Management Loughborough University Graduate and couldn't resist coming back for a 5th year to do a masters in International Business. I've gotten involved in a number of different roles during my time here such as being an Action Volunteer, programme representative, committee member, peer mentor and student ambassador. I'm now taking on the role of Vice-Chair to bring you an enjoyable postgraduate experience so that you can fall in love with Loughborough University like I have! We will have some exciting events for you to get involved in so keep your eye out.

Artemi Tonikidou Enterprise and Employability

Artemi Tonikidou (MSc, MBA) is an economist who has been working as mentor and/or consultant, especially for small enterprises and start-ups. She holds an MBA degree from ALBA Graduate Business School (scholarship awarded) and a master’s degree in Economics from AUEB (Athens University of Economics and Business). She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the scientific field of New Product Development & Improvisation in marketing at the University of Loughborough.

Previously, she has also been working as a business consultant, by tutoring, helping develop new products and preparing business marketing plans, mainly for new ventures in various incubators in Greece (EkinisiLab of SEV- Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and INNOVATHENS), and as an innovation manager for a Hub in agri-food and herbal health products (AROMAHUB) in Patras Science Park. Meanwhile, she is an active member of the Greek Entrepreneurial Community and supports the Greek Eco-system, which is starting to emerge after the recent structural changes in the Greek economy, by offering pro-bono services to the Greek Mentoring Network I for U, the ?CEin (Athens Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation), the ePlus Mentoring networking and Reload Greece.

Ibukun Olubiyi Events and Activities
Ibukun spent most of her childhood and adolescent years between Nigeria, England and Ireland. She moved to Canada for University and earned her Bachelors degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She has now found herself back in England to pursue an MBA degree at Loughborough. When she's not busy "MBA-ing", she's trying to figure out how to eat her way through Loughborough, planning a trip or catching up on the latest decor trends in the event planning world.
Nadeem Hussain Events and Activities
Hi, I’m Nadeem and currently studying MSc Finance. I am delighted to join the postgrad committee this year andaim to increase student engagement by bringing all communities of all backgrounds together and making it an enjoyable experience for all
Ohemaa Frimpong Events and Activities
Ohema Boatemaa Frimpong is a young lady who was born and bred in Ghana .I have had first hand experience working with people from all around the world in my previous job USAID / IREX - an Obama initiated program on leadership training of young Africans. This makes me very diverse and open in dealing with people of different background. I am a program coordinator currently offering a Masters program in International Finance and Political Relations.

I am Ranalika and I’m pursuing MA Graphic Design And Visualisation. I am the Postgraduate Media Rep for 2018-19. I believe that communication and media has a lot of gaps and boundaries to cover so, just going to try to build those bridges. Plus, get ready to welcome some good graphics and candid in to the scene.
Ayush Garg Sports
I am Ayush Garg and studying Msc Sports Management. I'm a badminton player and want to work in some areas related to it. Looking forward to making sports more interesting for you.
